Who is Ilmora for?
Online Quran academies with a team of teachers, from around ten teachers up to hundreds. It is built for how academies actually run: families with several children, teachers and students in different countries, monthly fees and trial classes.
Do we still need Zoom or Google Meet for classes?
No. Classes run inside Ilmora. The teacher starts the class from the teacher app and the student’s device rings like a phone call. The class timer and lesson log sit on the same screen, and admins can listen in on live classes to support teachers.
How does Ilmora handle time zones and daylight saving changes?
Every class is kept against the teacher’s time and shown to each student in their own time. When a country changes its clocks, Ilmora finds the classes that change would move and lists them for review, so you choose whether to keep the teacher’s time or the student’s before anything shifts.
How are teachers paid through Ilmora?
Salary can be fixed, hourly, or a fixed amount plus a variable amount per class. Ilmora counts the classes actually taught, applies leave and deductions, and produces a payslip for each teacher, with the full salary history kept.
How does invoicing and fee collection work?
Ilmora creates invoices for each family on its billing cycle, and you can add manual invoices and adjustments. You always see who has paid and what is outstanding. Parents can pay online with Stripe or PayPal from the parent app and receive a receipt.
How much does Ilmora cost?
Ilmora costs $8 per teacher per month, with a minimum of 10 teachers. Students are unlimited and every module and app is included.
What if something goes wrong?

Which devices do teachers, students and parents use?
Teachers use the Ilmora app for Windows. Students and parents use the web app in any browser on a phone, tablet or computer, and there is an Android app for students. Owners and admins work in the web LMS.
What is Class Guard?
Class Guard checks live class speech and text shown on screen against rules you set, for example sharing phone numbers or offering private classes outside the academy. When something matches, admins get an alert with the sentences around it and resolve it with a note that is kept in the audit trail.
How do trial sign-ups and follow-up work?
Sign-up requests from your academy website arrive in Ilmora. A staff member claims a request, moves it through contacted, teaching or converted, and adds notes along the way. When the family becomes a regular family, their students are ready to schedule.
Is our data safe?
Access is by role, so owners, admins, teachers and parents each see only their own screens. Admin actions are written to an audit log with the before and after values. Card payments are processed by Stripe and PayPal, so Ilmora does not store card numbers.
